Job Description

The Project Accountant 2 position is a key role within our Construction and Operations Team.  This role works cross functionally with many departments to manage Small Project Accounting from project review and set up through final project close out. 

** This role is Hybrid- Seattle, Washington and does require you to be in office 4 days per week.

A day in the life…

  • Manage contract administration process for Consultants and General Contractors
  • Manage project set up in Oracle and Purchasing systems (POMS)
  • Review projects for correct Fixed Asset classification and use tax assessment
  • Ensure accurate documentation of project transactions, maintaining organized records for auditing and internal review purposes
  • Lead On-Site Store Fixture Installation Process, traveling as needed
  • Contribute positively to overall daily functioning of the team and cross train employees as needed
  • Review operating requirements, practices and procedures determining whether improvements can be made and implement changes as appropriate

You own this if you have …

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Experience with Fixed Asset, Construction or Property Development Industry preferred
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle, Coupa, Concur, Smartsheet and AI is a plus
  • Ability to review and analyze facts to make accurate decisions, summarize data and create meaningful reports
  • Strong Mathematical acumen with high degree of accuracy
  • High level of curiosity, ownership, and initiative with ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Washington: $69,500-$110,500

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
