About the Role:
The Pre-Sales Engineer is an integral part of the sales team. They provide pre-sales technical expertise to the sales team and customers during the sales process. They act as a bridge to align customer needs with what is possible with the Aries systems products. Recognized as a technical expert across the Aries organization and with customers they can recommends best practices, solves complex workflow problems and identify innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Working with Sales Managers in deep dive demonstrations in order to provide technical input into bids, RFP, RFI, proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process.
Having a solid technical understanding of Aries products, APIs in order to identify additional sales opportunities with existing customers.
Collaborating with sales teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customers' requirements.
Demonstrating the organization's products during customer calls especially later in the sales process when mapping out a technical solution to meet customers current and future needs.
Maintaining up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organization's and competitors' products and/or services.
Preparing cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with internal and external staff.
Requirements:
Exhibit experience in a pre-sales engineer or post-sales customer success role
Have a deep understanding of product functionality and API integrations
Have the ability to communicate to their end customers new features, product releases and training so they can better grow their business
Possess excellent presentation skills and customer relationship skills
Have a technical understanding and general programming skills, including working in a SaaS or PaaS environment
Be adept in problem solving, innovation, and general analytics
