Job Purpose:
Our Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, leading and executing the business segment’s strategy and profitability, growing sales and gross profit annually. This role will lead a sales team and will collaborate with the Design, Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and Field Sales Teams to develop customer solutions that exceed expectations and uses first-hand customer information to drive programs and project success.Job Responsibilities:
● Work directly with Sales Representatives to grow business in existing and new accounts, and conducts annual customer visits.Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● 10+ years of packaging industry sales with extensive experience and service knowledge related to kitting and co-packing and selling at C-suite level, is required.
● Strong strategic planning capabilities.
● Proven track record of providing custom solutions based on providing value, not just a lower price, and profitable sales growth.
● Innovative problem solver; recognizing customer needs, providing alternatives and selling and implementing alternative solutions. The Sales Director will develop customer solutions that make the complex simple.
● Up to 50% travel may be necessary.
Salary range $125,000 - $200,000
Work Experience:
Ability to work quickly and efficiently● 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.● Must possess a thorough understanding of the distribution business.● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.Education:
