YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The primary purpose of this role is to ensure NAB meets its obligations in relation to Know Your Customer (KYC) for existing Customers.
• Perform and complete Ongoing Customer Due Diligence reviews of customers of NAB adhering to the policies & procedures, regulations and the required quality standards.
• Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).
• Employees are responsible for work which is performed within established routines, methods and procedures.
• Escalate issues to Leaders to ensure appropriate course of action is taken.
• This role has shared responsibility for Financial Crime compliance across the bank.
• Keep updated with policy and procedure changes.
• Maintain integrity of information contained in support systems
• Liaise with key stakeholders (e.g. Relationship Managers) on customer due diligence requirements when required

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 2-3 years of experience working in process execution and operational role, highly preferable experience in Banking or Financial Service industry.  

• Prefer experience of working in Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence ( CDD / ECDD ) or KYC Operations in financial institutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data and draw conclusions.
• Ability to work together in a team in a high pressure fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, strong investigation and problem-solving skills.  
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, persuasive, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Strong time management skills to meet internal SLA’s. 
• Understanding of and experience working with regulatory/risk frameworks and AML/CTF risk management (desirable)
