The Role
The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Data Strategy and Analytics partners closely with Xylem’s Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) workstreams to ensure analytics, AI enablement, and data strategy are embedded into operational and transformational initiatives. In this role, you will bridge business teams with the AI & Enterprise Data organization, accelerating the adoption of data-driven insights, self‑service analytics, and emerging AI capabilities across the OTC process area. You will play a critical role in advancing Xylem’s enterprise data strategy, building strong relationships with business leaders, and delivering measurable, high‑impact outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between OTC business stakeholders and the AI & Enterprise Data team to align analytics and AI initiatives with strategic goals.
Lead the execution of Xylem’s Enterprise Data Strategy and Roadmap for the OTC process area.
Build and strengthen partnerships to ensure AI and analytics solutions drive tangible business value and improved operational performance.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize high‑value opportunities for data‑driven insights and advanced analytics.
Translate business needs into actionable AI, data, and analytics initiatives with clear outcomes and measurable impact.
Lead programs that increase AI and analytics literacy across OTC teams through training, enablement, and change management.
Drive adoption of self‑service analytics tools and AI‑powered capabilities to empower business teams and reduce dependency on centralized reporting.
Promote best practices in data visualization, predictive modeling, and the application of generative AI to solve business challenges.
Support enterprise data governance efforts by championing data quality, security, and compliance standards.
Advocate for standardization of tools, methodologies, and processes across data, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to support continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy roles.
5+ years of experience in business relationship management, program management, or leading cross‑functional initiatives.
Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
Demonstrated knowledge of Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience implementing AI‑powered solutions in operational environments.
Background in enterprise data governance or data architecture.
Experience in change management or training related to analytics or AI adoption.
