The Testing Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for support platforms Unisys and ensuring the implementation of policies and standards in each SW version, as well as special test requests in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Ensured the implementation of policies and standards in each SW release as well as in special test requests.
- Operate the SW changes implemented in the acceptance testing environments.
- Executes the requests assigned to your work group through the established requirements (REQ, INC, Itsk, CR, CTsk, BRM)
- Execute the installation of SW changes (CRs / CTsk) of the applications in the test environments.
- Execute the operational scripts of batch processes, line services and maintenance activities in the different equipment and development and test environments.
- Check that the care services of the area are fulfilled in a timely manner in each shift.
- Apply the automation definitions to be implemented to eliminate manual interventions.
- Keep up to date on the handling of operations data as well as new trends and operation techniques.
- Gather the necessary evidence of the test runs, as well as analyze possible failures and report to the engineering companies.
- Report problems in test environments with application owners or technical support, as well as participate in operational corrections to ensure stability in the environments.
- Participation in special tests and supports required by our direction giving speed and special supports.
- Transfer Software from Non-Production environments to Production environment repositories as requested via ServiceNow tickets.
- Meet requirements the support groups within CTI for any incidents on the non-production platforms until proper resolution.
- Review, approve and operate any automation into the environment to enhance service delivery or productivity.
- Ensure that all systems and services are in compliance with established policies, SLA´s and baselines.
- Assuring the execution and compliance of all Service Levels agreement with users and clients.
- Participate in upgrades documentation periodically for proper operating and infrastructure procedures for all systems and environments.
- Operate software testing to ensure meet established specifications.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in a Technology Infrastructure role including using platforms Mainframe - Unisys.
Basic programming languages knowledge and experience of data based, operating systems, networks and servers, knowledge (required)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
- Availability to work 12-hours shifts, 4 days on, 3 days off, rotating start times and days off.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
