Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated co-op/intern to work at our GMP manufacturing site in Bedford MA. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a supply chain program, and have some experience working in the biotech industry. The candidate will work closely with Materials Planning, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Quality Control, Quality Assurance Operations, and Manufacturing teams.
Work Model:
Core Lab & Ops: This role typically requires that the majority of the work be conducted on-site and thus will be subject to certain on-site safety protocols during the pandemic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with onboarding new materials and suppliers, place material orders, and assist capturing materials demand.
- Work in a cross-functional environment: link between supply chain colleagues and quality control raw materials, quality assurance, and manufacturing to assist with the materials program
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
- The candidate will work as part of the Supply Chain & Warehouse Teams with access to planning, scheduling and project management disciplines
- Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies for tech transfer activities
- The candidate will work on solo and team projects which can range from analysis in areas of Planning, Procurement, inventory control, warehousing and transportation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and operations
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Engineering, Science), with minimum of 2 years completed
- Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's/master's program with plans to return to school in the fall term
- This is a 6 month co-op, starting in January 2025 working until the end of June 2025.
- Capability for analysis / Use and understanding of Microsoft office tools, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Should possess strong leadership competencies; strong analytical skills; the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and the ability to be creative and innovative
- Interested in exploring Supply Chain in the biotech industry #LI-ONSITE
