We are looking for a passionate, empathetic Support Worker with a can-do attitude and positive growth mindset to join our vibrant team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Lifestyles, on Casual basis.

Your role centres on supporting people with disability to live meaningful lives, and actively drive their own decisions and goals.

About Us

At CPA Lifestyles, our clients participate in social and recreational activities, essential life skills and engage with their local communities. We match clients with disability support workers that are tailored to their needs, interests and passions in life.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting clients to build new skills through the delivery of person-centred, innovative programs such as arts & craft, music, health & fitness

  • Assisting clients with mealtimes, personal care and medication

  • Accompanying clients on community access, such as social events, recreation or sporting activities

  • Supporting clients with transport e.g. using CPA minivan

Requirements:

  • Available for a minimum of 3 to 5 days per week

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities to reach their goals

  • Flexibility to work across different services, locations and teams within CPA Lifestyles e.g. 1-on-1 clients homes or in community, including weekends

  • Any skills, passions or hobbies to share with our clients and team – to create new opportunities and programs

  • NSW Driver's License minimum P2
