Job Description​

Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas City’s premier non-profit Life Care retirement community. Located between Westport and the Plaza we offer our residents a special place to live and our employees a truly wonderful place to work.

We are looking for highly qualified and career-minded Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) to work in our 57 bed skilled nursing center.  These are full-time positions working 12-hour shifts three days per week, with alternating weekends. Hours of work are 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Our CNA's partner with our licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, organize, and carryout resident care plans. Duties include:

　

• Assisting residents with daily living activities
• Providing resident care and reporting resident information/needs to charge nurse
• Answering resident calls and requests for assistance
• Serving food and beverages to ensure proper resident nutrition
• Assisting residents in mobility and transport activities
• Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean and hygienic living environment

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

1 year

Cert Nurse Aide (MO) - Missouri Division of Health and Human Services, Cert Nurse Assistant - Various

Diploma
