The Opportunity:
CACI is hiring a Senior Configuration Manager to join our team supporting the Naval Information Forces Command (NAVIFOR) in the development and management of Customer Accounts in the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) Enterprise Network, the Navy’s Authoritative Database for Configuration Management.  Work includes collaborating on systems and solutions supporting customer accounts from business, analysis, technical, systems, data, and enterprise functions.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Configuration Manager, you'll work within MBPS to develop, maintain, and document solutions for customer accounts.

This involves collaborating closely with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of Configuration Information.

  • Responsible for analyzing customer requirements for Configuration support and recommending preferred solution that optimizes engineering, management, and cost parameters.
  • Takes ownership of the requirements and manages the requirements from creation to completion.
  • Coordinates with the customer representatives to satisfy Configuration requirements, to include performing as the liaison between the service provider and the supported organization.
  • Analyzes business processes and develops plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.
  • Coordinates evaluation of hardware and software being considered for implementation.
  • Develops and implements detailed installation plans for projects, supporting the diagnosis and resolution of Configuration problems and trouble reports for end users.
  • Utilizes policies, procedures, and tools to manage and satisfy customer Configuration requirements, including hardware, software, documentation, and drawings.

Qualifications:

Required: 
  • Active Secret clearance
  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.  Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Configuration Management.
  • Experience with Model Based Product Support (MBPS) or Configuration Data Management Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) as a CSM, CTDM, CDM, or ISEA would be a plus.
Desired:
  • CSM or CTDM Access to MBPS.
  • Navy 3M 303 Work Center Supervisor PQS Qualification.
  • CSM or CTDM Certificate from Instructor Led Training (ILT) Course.
  • Understanding of Navy Supply System
  • Understanding of the NAVSEA Technical Specifications (Tech Specs)

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
