Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Pune

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the Agile development process and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your primary focus will be on guiding and coaching the development team, product owner, and organization on Agile principles and practices. Responsibilities:

Facilitate Agile Processes:

  • Act as a servant leader and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach the development team and product owner in adopting Agile best practices and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment that encourages creativity, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Project Management:

  • Work closely with the product owner to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clear, concise, and actionable.
  • Assist in estimating and planning sprints, monitoring sprint progress, and ensuring that sprint goals are met.
  • Track and report key project metrics, such as velocity and burndown, to provide transparency and visibility to stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor project risks and dependencies, and proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality.

Coach and Mentor:

  • Guide and mentor the development team on Agile practices, empowering them to become self-organized and cross-functional.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by providing feedback, facilitating knowledge sharing, and promoting Agile principles and values.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of project goals.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a Scrum Master role.
  • Proven expertise in agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Strong technical background with experience in software engineering practices.
  • Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
