Position Summary

Join a high-performing analytics team supporting CVS Health and Aetna's exciting and growing Government Services business. The primary focus of this role will be developing and maintaining various technical actuarial data assets and processes in support of various actuarial Medicare departments including Part C, Part D, Medicare Supplemental and more.

This role will be responsible for development & maintenance, process improvement, automation, documentation, and validation of various data assets critical to the success of government services.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the assigned actuarial data assets and effectively communicate and collaborate across teams.

Leverage advanced SAS coding (to efficiently process large amounts of data), Excel, and other technical options.

- Documentation of the data assets including data dictionaries and processing steps.

- Collaborate with various actuarial pricing teams for enhancements of data assets.

- Implement process improvement through automation and process change.

- Independently review work for accuracy and reasonability.

- Investigate data issues for root cause analysis and work with appropriate teams to resolve.

- Communicate observations and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications

- 1+ year of experience with SAS, SQL, (Python a plus)

- 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office suite; proficiency in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Medicare data is a plus

- GCP BigQuery experience.


Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $89,300.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
