Copart is seeking a self-guided Senior Social Media Specialist who blends organic social marketing rigor with creative storytelling focused on automotive content, car culture, and visually compelling creative. The ultimate candidate also has ideas about how to film, showcase, and position vehicles, maintains a pulse on car enthusiast communities, and has a track record of translating brand objectives into engaging, high-performing campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Strategy & Planning
Turn marketing goals into thoughtful channel-specific plans across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Own and manage the content calendar with a forward-looking lens to always be working on what’s next.
Lead an always-on social presence, including real-time and reactive content.
Understand audience characteristics by social media platform.
Continuously optimize content for engagement, reach, and platform best practices.
Awareness of consistency between social and other email, web, and broader digital marketing efforts.
Pull data from Sprout, Hootsuite or other tools and manipulate data in excel or a more advanced readout platform for regular reporting and communications of insights.
Leverage data literacy to work cross-functionally with analytics teams, shaping analytical requests and uncovering broader campaign performance insights.
Creative, Video & Content Development
Maintain a fast-moving, always-on content engine that shows up in real time
Partner with internal creative team to develop campaigns, series, and social-first ideas designed to grab attention and drive action with strong hooks, formats and storytelling.
Push beyond standard approaches to deliver fresh, unexpected content with a balance of entertaining, useful, and conversion-driven content.
Act quickly on changes in trends, platforms, and cultural moments to keep the brand one step ahead.
Foster community connections by engaging across DMs and comments in a consistent, savvy, authentic brand voice.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, with a strong focus on hands-on execution and campaign deliver.
Familiarity with content management platforms like Sprout or Hootsuite.
Proven experience managing organic or paid social campaigns a
cross key platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, and performance optimization.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and external partners.
Literacy of post-production skills including use of Capcut, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Photoshop
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in automotive, marketplace, B2B, or auction-based industries.
Experience leveraging AI tools to support content development, with a focus on scaling output.
