Job Summary

The Agent is responsible for service and sales of personal & commercial lines insurance products to an existing group of personal insurance clients. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day service needs for clients

  • Coordinate marketing for new and renewal coverages

  • Coordinate preparation of summaries of insurance, schedules, loss summaries, proposals

  • Coordinate claim and cancellation activities for client

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written

  • Customer service skills

  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Service a assigned book of business.

  • Organized and can prioritize tasks

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Property & Casualty General Agents License

  • Ability to communicate and understand orally and in writing with others to explain complex or abstract issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately

  • Knowledge of insurance products and usages

  • Knowledge of rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage client and prospect lists

  • Ability to utilize computer programs necessary to perform the job
