The Team and Role:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading development efforts for refresh and post-MP sustaining projects including the improvement of product cost, reduction of carbon footprint, mitigation of supply risk and compliance with the latest regulatory requirements. This position involves managing the sustaining projects for headsets, speakers and microphone product category. He/she will manage a project team to report to the management team that spans functions of hardware and software engineering, ID design team, product marketing, package development including package structure, as well as graphic and documentation development, and operation with manufacturers.

  • In charge of the assignments for the post-MP sustaining projects to improve and sustain audio products.

  • Develop full-scale project plans and communicate project goals with the project team. 

  • Create, publish, and maintain project plans and product cost computations according to defined standards.

  • Identify and analyze project risks and execute mitigation strategies. 

  • Resolve project issues and conflicts, escalating unresolved issues to functional managers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in sustaining projects.
     

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 4-8 years of direct work experience in a project manager role. 

  • Strong written and oral English communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with project management process and development schedule planning.

  • Strong logical thinking to resolve project issues. 

  • Good interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities to drive project progress. 

  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. 

  • Experience in the development and sustaining of consumer electronics.

  • Proficient in engineering document control and change management processes.

  • Effective use of Google/Microsoft Office applications and cloud-based applications.

  • Ability to travel.

  • Experience in project management of audio and wireless products is a plus. 

  • Qualified PMP is a plus.
