The Impact:

The Director of Workday Integration Operations and Services in Corporate Platforms is responsible for implementing end-to-end integrations in Workday, Release management, Domain security configuration, Tenant or Platform management along with audit and controls. Leads and contributes to integration standards, reusable assets, and best practices. Ensures integrations comply with security, data privacy, audit, and compliance requirements. This role works in collaboration with the various People teams or stakeholders (including third party vendors) in the organization to implement and support the operating model for Workday.  A good working relationship with the Infrastructure, Enterprise Risk and Compliance, and Audit teams is also required.

 

 

 


Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Work with the People teams to support and own Workday integration delivery across the different modules in Workday, ensuring successful planning, estimation, execution, testing, deployment, and hyper care. 
  • Lead the release management, tenant management, authentication and security domain configuration in Workday.
  • Successfully exit any TSA’s within S&P Global Inc. within 12 months of its initiation.
  • Lead the design and implementation of Workday integrations, including Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and third party middleware.
  • Analyze and understand end to end integration architectures, including upstream and downstream system dependencies. Identify Workday integration risks early and proactively manage data quality, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation strategies. Ensure Workday integrations comply with security, data privacy, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with functional, technical, and client leadership to ensure collective ownership of timelines, and deliverables. Support and maintain Workday with a team of dedicated Integration specialists and security resources.   
  • Lead and contribute to integration standards, reusable assets, and best practices. Implement a robust testing standard for integrations and Quality Assurance process to minimize integration disruptions or risks.
  • Create an environment within the team that focuses on collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement.
  • Align to roadmaps of stakeholders across the enterprise regarding integrating with Workday and work towards a successful outcome.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting Workday Integrations and Workday tenant or platform.
  • Managed a Workday Integration team handling a wide portfolio of inbound/outbound Workday integrations from design to implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams, collaborating with HR, Finance, Payroll, vendors, and infrastructure teams.
  • Experience managing third party Workday integrations for vendors and coordinating point to point integrations.
  • Strong background in Workday Integrations, with hands-on experience across: Workday Studio /Core Connectors (CCW, CCB, PECI, etc.) EIBs (inbound and outbound) REST / SOAP APIs, XSLTs, SFTP, SSH/PGP and OAuth 2.0 security.
  • Experience in Workday security domain configuration and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in architecting Workday integration solutions aligned to the business requirements and technical constraints.
  • Experience on Release management in Workday from preparation, analysis, ensuring best practices, prioritizing, communicating to relevant stakeholders and regression testing.
  • Deep understanding of Workday integration frameworks, tenant migration strategies, and release management.
  • Experience leading Workday integration design documentation, including Integration architecture diagrams, data mappings and transformation logic, error handling and reconciliation approaches
  • Familiarity with Workday integration, monitoring, alerting, and supporting processes.
    Experience working in large, complex Workday programs with multiple tenants and environments.
  • Experience in building a global Workday integration technical team. Ability to develop team members to enhance technical skillsets across the team.

  • 15+ years previous experience in a large global organization leading the Workday Integration team
  • Workday Integration Certifications
  • Equivalent Masters degree
