Qantas Loyalty has established a fit-for-purpose, multi-disciplinary team to help accelerate the Group’s ambitious growth and innovation agenda; partnering with business units to validate, define and deliver the next wave of core, adjacent and disruptive plays.

As a Senior Agile Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for leading requirements gathering and validation workshops and using techniques such as modelling, storyboarding, story carding to create a prioritised list of product features on our E-Commerce websites (Qantas Marketplace and Qantas Wine). You’ll be supporting the Product Manager in engaging and managing key stakeholders and working in a Scrum team writing Features, Epics and User stories including acceptance criteria and ensuring a consistent and aligned view of scope.

You’ll have:

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on digital projects and products. Previous experience in E-Commerce/Retail would be highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in the full project lifecycle (from conception to launch and post-launch analysis).
  • Experience in analysing and optimising websites (desktop and mobile), mobile apps, or other digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how they relate to business goals.
  • Proficiency in using data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau) to communicate findings effectively.
  • Support the Product Manager to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively gather requirements from your scrum team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, lead discussions, and present findings to diverse audiences.
