YOUR MISSION: 

  • Lead upfront market research, supplier identification and sourcing exercises including RFIs and RFPs in the delivery of the category strategy and market unit objectives 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and suppliers to align procurement activities with organizational goals and manage sourcing and category management initiatives. 

  • Perform data analysis and KPI reporting to monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization. 

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and customer stakeholders across business units and corporate levels. 

  • Prepare executive reports and presentations using performance-related data to communicate results and recommendations. 

  • Support supply market research, sales and business development, spend and contract analysis, and category planning activities. 

  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between local and global functions involved in delivering the category strategy. 

  • Provide advisory support on innovative ideas, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving strategies, and assist with P2P processes as needed. 

WHO YOU ARE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree. 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, procurement and supplier management. 

  • Advanced English and Dutch (B2+) language skills. 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in dynamic environments. 

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including presentations; effective in multicultural settings. 

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building with a proactive and adaptable approach. 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a solution-driven mindset. 

  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring; collaborative and agile in matrix organizations. 

  • Highly motivated self-starter and team player, dedicated to ongoing learning. 

Bonus Points If You Have: 

  • Advanced Italian (B2+).
