YOUR MISSION:
Lead upfront market research, supplier identification and sourcing exercises including RFIs and RFPs in the delivery of the category strategy and market unit objectives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and suppliers to align procurement activities with organizational goals and manage sourcing and category management initiatives.
Perform data analysis and KPI reporting to monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and customer stakeholders across business units and corporate levels.
Prepare executive reports and presentations using performance-related data to communicate results and recommendations.
Support supply market research, sales and business development, spend and contract analysis, and category planning activities.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between local and global functions involved in delivering the category strategy.
Provide advisory support on innovative ideas, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving strategies, and assist with P2P processes as needed.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, procurement and supplier management.
Advanced English and Dutch (B2+) language skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in dynamic environments.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including presentations; effective in multicultural settings.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a solution-driven mindset.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring; collaborative and agile in matrix organizations.
Highly motivated self-starter and team player, dedicated to ongoing learning.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Advanced Italian (B2+).
