Here are just a few of your day-to-day responsibilities.

• Lead Hybrid Cloud Projects: Guide clients through application modernization and migration initiatives, designing strategies and roadmaps for hybrid environments.
• Architect Hybrid Solutions: Develop cloud architectures integrating public cloud services with on-premises and private cloud platforms, using technologies such as OpenShift, Anthos, and VMware.
• Application Modernization: Design composable architectures using microservices, event-driven architectures (EDA), and cloud-native technologies across hybrid environments.
• Hybrid Cloud Integration: Implement solutions that enable seamless workload portability and management across on-premises, private, and public clouds.
• DevOps & Automation: Establish CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, OpenShift templates), and automated operations across hybrid environments.
• Data Integration & Analytics: Architect data platforms that span cloud and on-premises, enabling advanced analytics, machine learning, and secure data exchange.
• Security & Compliance: Design secure hybrid architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for identity, access, and data protection.
• Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, communicating hybrid cloud architecture, best practices, and transformation strategies to technical and business stakeholders.
• Thought Leadership: Develop reusable assets, publish whitepapers, and contribute to the hybrid cloud community.
• Business Case & ROI Analysis: Build financial models for cloud adoption, including TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI. Advise on cost optimization strategies and AWS pricing models.
• Operating Model Design: Design cloud operating models for governance, security, and compliance. Recommend organizational changes for cloud adoption (e.g., Cloud Center of Excellence).
• Resilience & DR Strategy: Define RTO/RPO tiers, multi-region patterns, backup/restore policies
• Design Architecture Review Board charters, NFR baseline templates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• MBA Degree from Tier-1 College (Preferable)
• 9-13 years of large-scale consulting experience and/or working with hi tech companies leading Projects on Cloud Strategy, Assessment, Cloud architecture, App Modernization, Containers, information security and information management.
• Professional Cloud Architect Certification (GCP or AWS)

Experience:

• We are seeking experienced professionals who have led large-scale engagements in application modernization, cloud architecture, and cloud strategy. The ideal candidates will have technical expertise in cloud strategy, assessments, cloud architecture, application modernization, and containers, across all stages of the innovation lifecycle, with a focus on shaping the future in real-time."
• The candidate should have practical industry expertise in one of these areas - Financial Services, Retail, consumer goods, Telecommunications, Life Sciences, Transportation, Hospitality, Automotive/Industrial, Mining and Resources.

Key Competencies and Skills:

The right candidate should have competency and skills aligned to one or more of these archetypes –

• Expertise in hybrid cloud architecture, integration, and cloud-native development.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, containers (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and event-driven design.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation across hybrid environments

Other desired skills -

• Strong desire to work in technology-driven business transformation
• Strong knowledge of technology trends across IT and digital and how they can be applied to companies to address real world problems and opportunities.
• Comfort conveying both high-level and detailed information, adjusting the way ideas are presented to better address varying social styles and audiences.
• Leading proof of concept and/or pilot implementations and defining the plan to scale implementations across multiple technology domains
• Flexibility to accommodate client travel requirements
