Job Description:

SCOPE: Under general supervision, is responsible for the coordination and administration diagnostic and radiation therapy CT exams; ensures patient safety, technical quality and timely transfer of data; fabricates any necessary immobilization devices prior to scan as needed.

FUNCTIONS:

1.    Perform CT scans for routine radiologic exams.
2.    Perform CT scans for radiation treatment planning purposes.
3.    Perform X-Ray scans for diagnostic use
4.    Perform Panorex for dental clinic.
5.    Other duties as assigned.  
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology.            
2 years experience as radiological technologist required. CT experience preferred.
Registered by ARRT with current License by the state of Louisiana
Computer skills with proficiency of CT scanner
Phlebotomist training preferred
