Compensation for this role is $20/hr The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a Solutions Engineering/Analytics Intern, you will learn the ins and outs of supporting new and existing clients by developing reports, creating dashboards, and providing insights through data analysis. What you’ll do on a typical day:

· Assist with researching transportation and logistics solutions and improving efficiencies

· Gain understanding and experience with functional areas of transportation and logistics

· Participate in projects in the areas of logistics, network design, transportation, and optimization

· Research data related to mode/carrier selection, shipment tracking and the measurement of customer service and carrier performance

· Gain real world knowledge of various software programs, including Power BI, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce

What you need to succeed at RXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

· High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

It’d be great if you also have:

• Class status as a junior (3rd year) or greater

• Proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R, big data, and cloud computing

• Strong knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical modeling to solve business problems

• Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, including linear/logistic regression (advanced predictor selection techniques), classification (decision trees, random forests), Support Vector Machines (SVMs), neural networks, etc.

• Exposure to or strong interest in Power BI, data visualization, and AI-driven analytics

• Hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards, including DAX and basic data modeling concepts

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, natural language querying, or automation in reporting processes

• Ability to be open-minded and receptive to feedback in an intellectually rigorous environment

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
