Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Embedded Software Engineers. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Rocket Center, WV.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Sector.

Rocket Center, WV is located along the North Branch Potomac River in Mineral County, West Virginia and is home to the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL), a government installation operated by Northrop Grumman. Known for its scenic mountain landscapes, rolling hills and state parks, the region offers a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities to include hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hunting and whitewater rafting. Job Description:

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Develops, designs, tests, and supports manufacturing of electrical products.

This position is for an Embedded Software Engineer with broad interests whose expertise can be applied to the development of cutting-edge military programs.

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelors degree from an accredited institution by December 2024
• Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Internship experience in production environment.
• Prior experience or coursework with energetics.

Salary:

$62,200 - $93,400
