Job Description:

Location: This position is remote/hybrid-eligible, provided the candidate resides within the following markets: Santa Fe, New Mexico; Las Vegas, Nevada; Denver, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; Houston Texas; Los Angeles, CA & New York, NY. 

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $88,870 to $122,640 and may vary based upon location and experience. 

Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications for this position is September 15, 2024. Meow Wolf reserves the right to extend this deadline if needed.

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance and FP&A will assist in the creation and maintenance of financial models, including core exhibit operating model and Long-term Planning model (LTP), financial reporting, execution of corporate transactions, other financial analysis work, and ad-hoc special projects. You will partner with our Manager, VP, Corporate Finance and FP&A, the CFO, and other cross-functional leaders across Meow Wolf. 

In this dynamic, high-visibility role, you will combine problem solving skills with deep technical finance knowledge to help drive strategic and operational decisions throughout the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (notably our General Managers and Senior Leadership team) to develop operating plans, identify key risks & opportunities and areas of efficiencies; serve as a critical link between operators, corporate and management.

  • Develop and maintain dynamic, detailed, and scalable financial models in collaboration with business units.

  • Help drive strategic and operational decisions by working closely with leaders across the company.

  • Provide financial insights into the business through cross-functional partnership, forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and special projects.

  • Generate presentations & materials for senior leadership (e.g. Board presentations).

  • Improving operational efficiency (e.g. process improvement & system enhancements).

  • Support strategic initiatives support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Help drive new initiatives by creating detailed business cases to evaluate and support decision making.

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.

  • Support strategic initiatives and contribute to special projects, as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; or equivalent experience. 

  • Proven track record of success (2-4 years) in Investment Banking, Management/Financial Consulting, Private Equity, Corporate Finance management development program, FP&A or a similar background.

  • Possess advanced knowledge of three-statement financials, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, financial operating model development, and GAAP accounting concepts.

  • Proactive communicator.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Strong attention to detail and intellectually curious.

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and exhibit flexibility.

  • Strong Google Suite, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Investment Banking, Management / Financial Consulting, Private Equity, Corporate Finance management development program, FP&A or a similar background preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Workday Finance and/or Adaptive a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

  • This position is remote friendly though may require some travel for relevant meetings.
