Responsibilities
  • Perform independent credit assessment and review of all Credit related requests for Corporate borrowers, highlight the key risk factors and identify risk mitigation and justifications. Scope of coverage includes new, incremental, renewal, ad hoc and Borrower Rating application.
  • Monitor and track the post approval credit issues and all covenants'/conditions/ instructions/interim monitoring and all other reports related to credit matters. 
  • Conduct independent checking on Single Customer Exposure Limits (SCEL) grouping and rationale.
  • Extend support on the internal/external audit related to credit risk management including the role of the secretariat for internal Credit Examination.
  • Undertake the role of operational-related internal controls including but not limited Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Compliance Liaison Officer (CLO).
  • Assist in other ad-hoc tasks from time to time, when required.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution. 
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant credit experience as Relationship Manager, Credit/Risk analyst or worked in Credit Department assessing credit related applications.
  • Possess good analytical skill, critical thinking, good written and oral communication skills in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulatory environment and relevant laws and regulations.
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently with minimum supervision and a team player with a good learning attitude and excellent working aptitude.
  • Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
