Job Purpose: To provide expertise in friction welding of mfg. process to ensure most efficient and cost-effective manufacture of product.

Main Job duties:

Assignments as below are included but not restricted to the following items.

• Develop friction welding process, document process changes, driving process/fixture improvement and cycle time reduction for friction welding equipment.
• Define investment and expense to support NPI product introduction and business growth, bring new ideas and positive support to the current friction welding process.
• Introduce new technology on friction welding process to improve production efficiency and drive variable cost reduction.
• Friction welding process trouble shooting, Rod as friction welding programming to support production line running smoothly.
• Be responsible for friction welding process working instruction, SWES/PFMEA/SFMEA establish and operators training.
• Communicating with design team about new product design to reduce friction welding process risk and achieve more competitive product.
• Other task assigned by organization or managers.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
• Applicants with 1~2 years of work experience or recent college graduates are also acceptable.
• Rich experience on arc welding or lathe.
• Best known for automatic welding production line.
• Skilled of reading/writing/oral English.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Stronger drawing reading ability.
• Basic computer skills are required. Basic office software skills.

Additional information:

• The position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
