SAP Functional Expert, FICO Production Finance

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR)  embarked a seven year global Business Transformation program enabled by SAP S/4HANA in January 2021. This is a greenfield implementation for Sandvik, a large Swedish multinational group. A second phase of the Program is now underway, with the ambition to extend the template to our Sales Units as well as a parallel implantation stream rolling out the solution to our manufacturing sites.

The SMR IT finance delivery team is currently looking for an experienced FICO functional expert with a strong overall knowledge of the core finance module (GL, AR, AP, AA, CO). As a member of the team you will be responsible in ensuring any roll outs or enhancements are compliant with the existing solution and strategy as well as being actively involved in these programs. Due to the dynamic nature of the organisation, you will also be involved in the roll out of additional functionality and enhancements to the solution.

The position is permanent and located in one of our SAP delivery hubs (Turku / Tampere, Finland; Dublin, Ireland; Stockholm, Sweden)

Main Responsibilities

● Work with our SI partners to ensure their design decisions are consistent with the core solution and strategy

● Identify and own global or cross programme changes that affect the implemented solution

● Be the finance functional lead on other cross functional deliveries.

● Work closely with our customers to identify, prioritise and deliver enhancements to the solution.

● Work with the Application Maintenance team ensuring the prioritisation and quality of their changes is consistent

Your Background

You have the following experience:-

● 5+ years of experience in implementing SAP projects in the finance area

● S/4 HANA experience an advantage

● A good working knowledge of related SAP modules e.g. Order management, Production planning, Materials management

● Proficiency in MS Office Suite
