About the Opportunity

Gain experience in Sales Demand Management at the world’s leading Berry Company. Working alongside experienced professionals, this internship offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge and develop essential business skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a demand management intern, you will analyze market trends, forecast demand, and support the maintenance and growth of business relationships. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Anaplan data maintenance and Tableau report development, design, and implementation. Assist the demand management team in evaluating customer performance, generating insights, and developing internal KPI reports. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and key leaders across multiple departments to achieve major business initiatives.

This is a 3 month internship. No housing stipend is offered.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute towards Driscoll’s Company culture objectives as defined by company values and the department’s vision and mission statements

  • Learn about periodic demand planning processes utilized to support supply and demand alignment, customer strategy, and participate in customer relationship engagement

  • Contribute to short-range and mid-range demand planning at the item-level and org-level; assist Demand Managers with relocating demand plans in Anaplan

  • Learn how to utilize Sales Data sources in collaboration with Tableau to work on special projects and support key metrics development

  • Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Supply Chain, Product Leadership Management and Supply Forecasting to execute cross-functional requirements

  • Provide data and information for Management and Senior Management requests

  • Support the updating of the Demand Management data ecosystem that helps provide visuals of demand plans to the business

  • Develop skill sets necessary to meet the goals, milestones, and next steps as determined at the start of the internship

  • Ensure Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials

  • Represent Driscoll's in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large

   

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed (6 months or less) a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business or a related business field
  • Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement, both personally and within work processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop, implement, and assess key metrics
  • Ability to operate in a multi-faceted environment with flexibility in weekly responsibilities
  • Ability to independently set priorities and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
  • Familiarity with Tableau preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Anaplan preferred but not required
  • Agricultural industry experience preferred but not required

Compensation
The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors. 
 

The estimated hourly pay range for this internship is $19 to $23, depending on academic level.
