Essential duties & responsibilities:

Strategic & P&L Leadership

•            Own and drive the end-to-end Profit & Loss responsibility for the business unit.

•            Define and execute business strategies that align with corporate objectives and local market opportunities.

•            Monitor and manage budgets, profitability, and resource allocation for optimal financial performance.

Sales Management

•            Lead and scale the national sales force to drive top-line revenue and increase market penetration.

•            Develop and implement effective go-to-market models, including direct, distributor, and key account channels.

•            Foster strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital administrators, procurement authorities, and clinical stakeholders.

Marketing & Portfolio Strategy

•            Oversee marketing strategy including product positioning, pricing, segmentation, and lifecycle management.

•            Work closely with global/regional product teams for new product launches, clinical education, and marketing campaigns.

•            Utilize market intelligence, competitor insights, and voice of customer to drive innovation and customer-centric strategies.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

•            Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to regulatory guidelines, ethical marketing practices, and industry codes of conduct.

•            Collaborate with quality, legal, and compliance teams to maintain integrity in all business operations.

Cross-functional & Customer Excellence

•            Drive collaboration with supply chain, finance, medical affairs, and operations to ensure seamless execution.

•            Champion customer experience, service quality, and post-market engagement to enhance brand reputation.

Leadership & Talent Development

•            Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, diverse commercial team.

•            Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

•            Drive performance management, coaching, and succession planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

•            Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).

•            12–18 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with at least 5 years in a P&L leadership role.

•            Proven track record in launching and growing complex medical device portfolios.

•            Deep understanding of regulatory environment, tendering processes, and hospital procurement systems.

•            Strong stakeholder engagement skills – clinicians, KOLs, regulatory bodies, distributors.

•            Demonstrated success in driving commercial transformation and growth in a competitive market.
