The LES Supervisor, Accounting will play a pivotal role in ensuring statutory compliance and aligning financial practices with corporate standards. This role requires collaboration with various teams to manage and oversee financial activities while adhering to local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the preparation and review of statutory financial statements for legal entities.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to facilitate smooth month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support audits and financial reporting requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong understanding of local GAAP and statutory requirements in Colombia.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
