Who you are:

  • You challenge the status quo. You always look for opportunities to improve campaigns or processes by following an iterative, data-centric, ‘test and learn’ approach.
  • You have a bias towards action. You enjoy acting with urgency. You take responsibility for outcomes and can identify and remove barriers efficiently.
  • You have strong people management and coaching skills and can motivate a team to do their best work every day.
  • You are a strategic thinker. You are able to create a strategic vision for growing the business through marketing that aligns to overall business and marketing goals.
  • You have a tireless, results-driven mentality. You possess the ability to analyze large data sets to influence business decision-making. You are able to identify trends and continually critique and optimize performance with a positive mind-set.
  • You are a great storyteller and strong copywriter. You can curate and deliver authentic, compelling stories and build narrative around products to improve the connection and relevance to external partners.
  • You are comfortable working independently in a lean, entrepreneurial, ambiguous environment.
  • You effectively influence and gain cooperation of peers / stakeholders and are confident conducting presentations to senior leaders.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. You can juggle multiple priorities at the same time to deliver high quality projects within agreed timeframes.
  • You communicate openly and honestly at all levels. You surface and resolve difficult issues quickly.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Partner marketing strategy: Working with key business stakeholders, you will create and get buy-in for a partner marketing strategy that supports the business’ growth goals.
  • Create a vision for automation: You will collaborate with Marketing Operations and Data Engineering to deliver behaviour-based triggered comms that influence partner behaviour. You will work with Analytics to measure the success of these campaigns and their impact on production. You will set critical metrics and define the ‘test and learn’ framework to continuously improve on the content.
  • Develop early-life campaigns: You will help to drive revenue from newly signed partners by supporting the onboarding process and the ramp-up of sophomore partners. Through triggered Marketo campaigns, you will provide partners with the right information at the right time as they build up their knowledge and experience in working with PLS.
  • Account-based marketing: In collaboration with our business development teams, you will create tailored presentations and content to help close ‘big whale’ opportunities.
  • Create tailored campaigns: Working with Sales, Product Marketing and our Brand & Creative teams, you will help to grow key partner segments by creating impactful, tailored campaigns and content that clearly outline our value proposition.
  • Increase partner ‘stickiness’: You will support the retention of partners by driving product feature and rate adoption through multi-channel, content-rich campaigns. Aim to inform and educate partners about our offering and increase partner production. Measure the success of these initiatives and iterate to continuously improve.
  • Optimize lead flows: You will own the lead flows from our website. You will monitor the success of these flows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Reduce churn: You will work closely with Sales, Data Engineering and Marketing Operations to construct automated flows to prevent partners from churning out of the business.
  • Own data and reporting: You will be the subject matter expert for your data set (ie. leads, production and feature/rate adoption by market). You will work with Analytics to build dashboards which track key performance metrics and report back on these to senior stakeholders. You will quickly identify any anomalies in the data reported, work with the relevant teams to uncover the root cause and identify a fix.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and the partner experience: You will influence the product roadmap and the development roadmap for tech platforms like Marketo and Salesforce with the goal of reducing friction and improving campaign impact.
  • Crisis and operational comms: You will oversee regulatory, legal and crisis comms to partners to ensure they are up-to-date with the most important information affecting their business.

Who you are:

  • 6-8 years of B2B partner marketing experience
  • Marketo experience essential
  • Experience in people management required
