Salary Range: $90k - $115K

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A Systems Support will play a critical role in enhancing and supporting our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems to drive accuracy, efficiency, and actionable insights within the finance team. This position will partner with FP&A team members and other key stakeholders across the business to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of FP&A systems and tools. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of financial expertise, technical skills, and a proactive approach to system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration & Maintenance: Act as the primary administrator for FP&A systems, ensuring data integrity, managing user access, and maintaining system configurations to align with business requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Facilitate and enhance the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes by developing and maintaining complex financial models and templates within the FP&A system.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Integrate data from multiple sources, create data validation checks, and ensure data accuracy for financial reporting and analysis. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide visibility into financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement system improvements to streamline financial reporting, budget consolidation, and forecasting processes. Partner with IT and FP&A team members to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Business Partnering: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Accounting, Operations) to support FP&A system projects, integrations, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain documentation of FP&A system configurations, process workflows, and data management practices to support compliance and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or finance systems support. Experience with FP&A systems such as Adaptive Insights, or similar is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, data modeling, and financial reporting. Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large data sets and complex financial models. Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving within financial systems.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FP&A systems implementation or upgrade projects.

  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and finance best practices.
