Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing standard tools and APIs to implement solutions, and ensuring that the applications perform optimally while meeting the evolving needs of the organization. You will also engage in troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain system integrity and performance, contributing to a seamless user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the documentation of application configurations and processes to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in packaged and SaaS applications.
- Application Lifecycle Management: ability to manage the lifecycle from application operation and maintenance side.
- Performance Optimization: skills in optimizing application performance and ensuring efficient operation.
- Process Monitoring and Management: refine and enhance monitoring and manage system processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting, Linux, Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (Oracle BRM), Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux, Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (Oracle BRM), Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong understanding of scripting and automation techniques to enhance application performance.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging packaged applications to ensure system reliability.
- Familiarity with APIs and low-code platforms to facilitate application integration.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting.
- Stakeholder Communication: ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams.
- Team Collaboration: skills in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
