About the Opportunity:
Reporting directly to our Queensland State Manager, the Queensland Quality and Clinical Officer role is to work collaboratively with the entire QLD team on compliance and clinical excellence across our Queensland homes.
Key Responsibilities:
ACQSC and external agency complaint investigations and written responses Advise & support service delivery teams with SIRS reporting, investigations and associated actions Lead and advise on High Risk Clinical Meetings and resident clinical management measures Conduct education on RN Graduate Program, Clinical Deterioration, Clinical Manager Orientation program, Medication Competency modules and other key development programs Key participant in home Mock audits, State gap analysis internal audits, risk investigations and risk profiling requirements. Participate in/lead Action plans for non-compliance, remediation, legislative or organisational changes Participate in and support service delivery teams through External audits/accreditation and investigations

Things that work for us:
A genuine interest for quality and improvement
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Proven experience in a similar role and/or operational aged care management / leadership and clinical safety
Committed to travelling across our QLD facilities (own transport a must)
Experienced in Aged Care Standards, SIRS, Not-for-profit and/or report writing will be highly regarded
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
NDIS check will be a requirement for this role
