Job Description:

SUMMARY: 
    
    Responsible for stocking, storing and delivering material, supplies, tools and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

•    Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent guest service at all times.

•    Verifies and maintains records of incoming and outgoing requisitions.

•    Checks incoming merchandise against shipping manifests and worksheets as needed.

•    Ensures quality if inventoried items.

•    Maintain a thorough, working knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies, and Food & Beverage specifications.

•    Responsible for accuracy when pulling inventory requisitions. 

•    Deliver all items necessary to any department on property.

•    Records amount of product or items pulled from inventory to be delivered to venues on inventory requisition forms. 

•    Marks inventoried product with identifying information using appropriate methods.

•    Assists Inventory Control with down-stacking pallets of product being received.

•    Moves products to storage or delivers to designated area, in a timely manner.

•    Cooperate with Accounts Payable in the verification of orders received. 

•    Assist Inventory Control when checking product being delivered.

•    Maintains receiving files and insures that they are organized.

•    Handle all receiving and shipping functions in accordance with appropriate safety standards and handles all equipment and tools in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

•    Performs routine clerical duties associated with the position.

•    Facilitate the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

•    Perform housekeeping duties as required.

•    Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.

•    Performs any reasonable request made by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; with one to three months related experience and/or training.  

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have experience in the operation of a forklift and an electric pallet jack.  Must be able to successfully complete the Operator Safety Training Course for both.  Warehousing experience preferred.  Must also be at least 21 years old to perform this position.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Must be computer literate and proficient in appropriate software.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write simple correspondence, routine reports.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other Team Members of the organization.  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member is also regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.  The Team Member is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; and is regularly required to stoop, kneel and crouch.

The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one-hundred pounds.  

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
