Plant Finance Analyst

Location: Bristol Plant located in Bristol, Viriginia

We are seeking a talented and motivated Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of financial decision-making and to contribute to the success of our operations. Additionally, as a Plant Finance Analyst, you will work with the Sr. Finance Manager, and will travel occasionally to our Waterford, PA plant. 

In this exciting position, you will:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead
  • Provide insightful cost direction and support to various departments such as plant management, quality, purchasing, planning, and inventory control
  • Monitor capital spending versus budget and review and analyze results to support capital processes
  • Assist in cost savings studies to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager in daily, weekly, and monthly financial closing processes
  • Produce monthly financial reports for senior management and corporate stakeholders
  • Conduct periodic audits and assist with year-end cycle counts to ensure compliance with financial policies
  • Work independently to complete tasks and communicate results effectively
  • Support the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager and take charge in their absence
  • Travel occasionally to our Waterford, PA plant to engage directly with the team

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, preferably within a manufacturing plant
  • A passion for learning and professional development
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
  • The flexibility to coordinate special projects, anticipate issues, and take initiative to resolve them
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Waterford, PA
