Raytheon’s Advanced Airborne Radio Frequency department has an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer who is committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective EW solutions to support the Electronic Warfare business area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) capability development.
What You Will Do
Support firmware development and integration for Electronic Systems (ES) and Electronic Assemblies (EA) performance
Lead government EW performance testing
Serve as the primary point of contact for all firmware development and debugging activities for Electronic Assemblies (EA)
Determine what the requirements should be for a product or system based on information from the customer and provide traceability for these requirements
Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years
Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and data for reports and presentations
Modeling and Simulation, agile DevSecOps delivery pipelines, software development principals, Digital Thread concepts and realization in the development lifecycle.
Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience
