Logistics Procurement Transportation Claims Analyst

Job Summary


This role is responsible for managing supply chain processes, within Logistics Procurement organization (Transportation claims team), for a regional or global business unit while applying discretion and judgement. The role maintains current business processes and performance metrics by collaborating with regional and global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role supports priority projects and communicates requirements to the regional and global business unit planning teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as transportation claims analysis, applicable laws and treaties that impact transportation contracts and claims management, logistics management, and import/export operations typically with a large or complex global business unit.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.

  • Drives align of process goals both inside and outside of company.

  • Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.



Education & Experience Recommended


• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
