The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Channel Sales Representative responsible for the successful attainment of sales volume objectives through
utilizing 3rd Party Channel Partner (CP) strengths and enhancing CP competencies so that the Partner can better leverage Xylem portfolio solutions for the Wallace & Tiernan product line.

Assists Business Partners in forecasting and planning Xylem opportunities through the application of opportunity engagement as well as the utilization of specific sales tools. Draws on a multitude of resources and cultivates relationships with the extended team of Partner executives to create, manage, and execute effective, high-ROI joint business plans. This role requires a demonstrable competence of the technical capabilities of Wallace & Tiernan solutions portfolio and, more importantly, the business acumen and managerial skill to develop and execute bold strategic plans to generate new business opportunities for CPs to pursue where those solutions will fulfill a need or create value for enterprise customer organizations, we want to hear from you!


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages Partner Plus Program which tracks the performance of our key channel partners to encourage growth
  • Collaborates with strategic partners to accurately forecast opportunities
  • Creates, manages and executes effective, high - ROI joint business plans with 3rd parties
  • Coordinates with Wallace & Tiernan corporate headquarters to ensure all legal agreements with 3rd party companies are documented accurately
  • Organizes and coordinates manufacturers’ representative events such as trainings and sales meetings
  • Facilitates best practice sharing across division for improved partnerships and customer support
  • Increasing level of strategic responsibility with Partner
  • Increasing level of geographic and revenue responsibility
  • Increasing number of Channel Partners
  • Acting as a business advisor to3rd Party Partner relationships and will act as a liaison between 3rd party partners and Xylem /Evoqua sales teams.
  • Participating in the Watermark program activities.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • 5-7 years of Sales experience
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Waste water/Drinking Water: Municipality and /or Industrial Experience
  • Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
  • Deeper understanding of Evoqua/Xylem’s partner programs, policies and procedures and the value of it to a Partner’s business; broader level of understanding of Xylem's suite of Products and Services
  • Basic competency of the elements of commerce and industry, and their impact on the business partner
  • Ability to leverage multiple resources and navigate Xylem processes to drive stated results
  • Ability to complete sales with no supervision
  • Proven ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Sense of Urgency
  • Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
  • SAP Software
  • Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate in both Verbal and Written.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires 60% of Travel within Mexico, and 5% LATAM - US.
