Business Performance Insights Manager - Vrbo

We’re seeking a strategic, data-focused leader to drive performance insights and sustainable growth across Vrbo’s markets outside the US. In this role, you will blend deep market insight, commercial acumen, and analytical rigor to explain business performance, translate insights into actions that improve growth, conversion, retention, and long-term brand health, and shape local strategies.

You will lead the performance narrative for Vrbo in these markets and partner closely with the Global Markets Sr Director and Regional Leaders, Marketing, Product, Partner Excellence, Customer Service, Data Science, and analytics teams to ensure local market realities inform business decisions. This role is ideal for a leader who can connect the story in the data to strategic priorities, advocate for market needs, and turn complex performance trends into clear recommendations and measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end market performance narratives, including explaining metric changes, identifying growth levers, and translating insights into clear actions for the business.

  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews by visualizing core metrics and providing concise, decision-ready commentary for stakeholders.

  • Drive deep-dive investigations into performance deviations, emerging opportunities, and key business questions independently and in partnership with analytics and cross-functional teams.

  • Partner with Regional Leads to identify, prioritize, and champion local market opportunities translating insights into localized campaigns, seasonal plans, and demand-supply actions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Supply, Product, Customer Service, and Data Science to ensure market insights shape product roadmaps, traveler experiences, and commercial priorities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Experience driving commercial growth, business performance, or analytics-led decision-making in travel, hospitality, digital marketplaces, or a related sector.

  • Familiarity with travel behavior, cultural nuances and/or marketplace dynamics in countries outside the US.

  • Experience leveraging an analytics foundation to enable strategic problem-solving, business recommendations, and high-impact initiatives beyond reporting and measurement.

  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and mobilize cross-functional teams toward shared goals.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Functional / Technical Skills:

  • Market strategy and commercial performance management
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder leadership
  • Data visualization and executive-ready storytelling
  • SQL and experience working with large datasets and data tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to connect data to action and drive accountability across teams

Why This Role

This role offers the opportunity to shape Vrbo’s next phase of growth in points-of-sale around the world, use data to drive performance and business strategy and help travelers experience the excitement that vacation rentals can bring to their next trip.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
