We're on a mission to level up the financial markets and make it possible for every person and company to take control of their financial future. Financial market participation may be a powerful tool to realise financial freedom, but most people don’t have access to the right knowledge, tools, products or execution to realise their financial objectives.
At CMC, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft. We've been working on this together since 1989 and have become one of the largest online derivatives brokers in the world.
Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the 1.3 million people CMC reaches worldwide. CMC is an in-person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office 5 days a week to help realise our mission together.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Customer Data Platform (CDP) Data Analyst to join our Marketing team. This role is primarily focused on managing and optimising our CDP to ensure that our customer data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. You will play a key role in driving data strategy, enhancing customer insights, and supporting data-driven marketing initiatives
Responsibilities:
CDP Management: Lead the administration and optimisation of the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring efficient data collection, storage, and accessibility.
Integration Expertise: Utilise your experience with CDPs (e.g. mParticle, Segment) to manage the integration of various data sources, facilitating a seamless data ecosystem.
Data Governance: Implement and uphold data governance policies to ensure data quality, compliance, and security in line with industry standards (e.g. GDPR, PECR).
Segmentation and Targeting: Leverage the CDP to develop customer segments and profiles, enabling precise targeting for marketing campaigns and personalised customer experiences.
Insights and Reporting: Create and manage insightful dashboards and reports to track customer behaviour, campaign performance, and overall marketing effectiveness, using tools integrated with the CDP.
User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support and training for marketing team members on utilising the CDP effectively, ensuring they can harness data for campaign strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and other departments to understand and fulfil their data requirements, optimising the use of the CDP across the organisation.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices related to CDPs, recommending enhancements to our data capabilities and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience managing or analysing data within a Customer Data Platform, preferably in financial services or marketing. Experience working with mParticle would be advantageous.
