The Service Scheduler position performs master scheduling activities for assigned assembly lines or plants. Other duties, as assigned.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Create master schedule slots and assignment of forecast groups

  • Reschedule based upon changes to line rates or production performance

  • Sequence within the day to align within production capability

  • Coordinate with Sales on reassignment of forecast groups or model mix changes per the Firm Order Review process

  • Perform planning bill quarterly maintenance - update percentages based upon history and projections from Sales and Marketing

  • Coordinate with Tactical and Materials departments on planning safety stock to support sales changes. Utilize history to determine required safety stock to support future planned shipments.

  • Learn all aspects of Scheduling including SIOP generation of line rates to support shipment plan

  • Take the revised shipment plan, and develop a supply plan and inventory plan

  • Create line rates that will achieve the supply plan

  • Coordinate with GPSC to create an achievable supply plan

  • Interface with Materials on PFEP, inventory control, and materials management

  • Learn the materials transactions process to assist in managing inventory accuracy of finished goods, contract manufacturing, and inter-company transfers/sales

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in a related field

  • Four plus years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Supply chain studies at the college level

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems

  • APICS certification or exposure
