Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a functional work team to deliver accurate and timely procurement activities like transactional purchasing, e-sourcing, data management, and reporting. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by tracking of procurement activities within the team, while ensuring quality of delivery service at improved transactional cost.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Packaging and E-Houses Division in Mexico.

You will be mainly accountable for:

•  Coordinating import and export processes within area of responsibility

• Coortinating international shipments to customers based in Mexico

• Managing negotiations and contract agreements with carriers for shipments worldwide

• Supporting the local sourcing and procurement strategies in line with business to meet current and future requirements

• Working with Customs brokers to effectively execute processes, assisting in obtaining permits, and preparing proper documentation.

• Develop improvement projects that impact directly to the logistics processes and savings balance
   

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering or similar.

• 7+ Years experience executing Logistics, Transportation and  Procurement processes.

• Experience in Electrical MV & LV Components

• Knowledge of ERP SAP

• 1+ Year experience leading direct / indirect reports
