About the Role: We’re looking for a hard-core PHP developer who loves building scalable, high-performing applications and thrives on solving complex backend challenges. He/she will be part of a dynamic engineering team that designs and develops enterprise-grade applications, integrates with modern frameworks, and continuously pushes the boundaries of performance, quality, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs primarily using PHP (Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter). • Write clean, optimized, and reusable code with a focus on scalability and performance. • Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Implement secure and efficient data handling, caching, and API integrations. • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and process improvements. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices. • Work on cross-platform integrations leveraging Java-based microservices or APIs. • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in backend development. Required Skills & Experience: • 8–9 years of hands-on development experience in PHP (Core PHP and Frameworks). • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and RESTful API development. • Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization. • Solid understanding of web architecture, caching, and performance tuning. • Exposure to Java (Spring Boot / REST APIs / integration with PHP-based services). • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP preferred). • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
