Caterpillar Poland is looking for a Buyer Support Associate who would support the work of the Purchasing department in Sosnowiec.

This position would be a maternity cover role offering a contract until the end of December.

You would process requisitions and support purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, price analysis and contract/purchase order generation in your role.

What You Will Do:

• Support buyers and category buyers in daily processes including administrative and analytical assistance
• Develop improvement plans to support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations
• Perform analysis and maintenance of assigned processes contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Keep in touch with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and compliant processes.
• Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of purchasing strategic initiatives.

What Will You Have:

• Degree or Equivalent experience in logistics/purchasing/supply chain
• Ability to transform numerical data into business insight using different tools (user knowledge of Excel is strongly preferred)
• Effective communication skills in both English and Polish
• Knowledge of purchasing/buyer processes and techniques
• Ability to learn new things in a timely manner and use that knowledge in practice
