We are seeking experienced Structural Journeyman or Apprentice Ironworker to support us on a industrial project. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on the Potash Mine project for our client.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform stick-built steel erection for structural steel buildings and structural steel panelization projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work layout and installation requirements.
  • Position steel members, align holes, insert temporary bolts, and complete bolt-up and impacting activities to secure structural components.
  • Execute heavy lifting, rigging, and setting of building modules and structural assemblies.
  • Assist with module installation, multi-crane lifts, and erection of stick-built structural components.
  • Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and connection of steel structures according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Operate rigging equipment, hoists, and other construction tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a strong focus on crew, equipment, and environmental safety at all times.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, crane operators, and crew members to ensure work is completed safely and within scheduled hours.
  • Inspect completed work to verify structural integrity, alignment, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to company and site safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Experience of working on a construction project in an industrial setting
  • Have a Journeyperson ticket or be registered in an apprenticeship from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • OSSA CSTS / CSO, Fall Protection and Mobile Elevated Work Platform is an asset.

Work Conditions:

  • 14/7 rotation working 10 hours/day with possibility of additional OT
  • Day and Night Shift available
  • Travel/flight allowance for provided for non-local residents
  • Camp based accommodation
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Project end date: January 2027
