Department Overview

The facility in Grevesmuehlen, Germany, serves as a vital system integration site. The Warehouse department is supporting the site with warehouse operations, re-packing, kitting and labelling.

Job Description

The Motorola Solutions Warehouse Manager is responsible for all warehouse operational tasks and leads a team of app. 5 employees. He ensures the accurate receiving and booking of goods, their meticulous storage and on time picking as requested. Aside from shipment preparation he manages the commissioning and kitting of items in boxes as well as accurate labelling of boxes and items.

In addition he is responsible for creation of the entire set of delivery documents fulfilling the requirements of a demanding customer. Also he takes ownership of inventory management and  accuracy, warehouse space optimization and will act as focal point for all warehouse related requests.

Basic Requirements

• You have experience in warehouse operations and ideally in warehouse management..
• You have excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• You have a hands on approach while also able to work with the Google suite.
• You will be part of the local management team, reporting progress and metrics to the site manager on a regular basis.
• You are highly motivated and able to work closely with team members, other teams and both internal and external customers.
• You are able to deal with changing priorities.
• You have the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• You are professional, quality orientated, positive and proactive.
• You speak German as well as English.
