Job Description Summary:
This Associate Chaplain will primarily provide pastoral counseling and spiritual support to our patients, family members and Hospital Staff alongside other Chaplains within the Department. As a member of this community, the Pastoral Care Department strives to be the expert on all religious and spiritual matters associated with the broader healthcare provided to our patients and families at Dublin Methodist Hospital, along with other OhioHealth care sites as needed. The Associate Chaplain is a critical member of the Pastoral Care Department and actively serves as a member of an interfaith Pastoral Care staff sharing in a wide variety of activities such as staff meetings, on-call responsibilities, and providing meaningful worship experiences.Responsibilities And Duties:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education - Association for Clinical Pastoral EducationAdditional Job Description:
Undergraduate degree from a college, university, or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Accreditation (www. chea. org). Provide documentation of ordination, current endorsement or of good standing in accordance with the requirements of his/her own faith tradition. At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral (ACPE, NACC, CASC) or equivalent faith group leadership Experience . Knowledge of crisis case and counseling skills, especially as practiced within the healthcare setting. One year (or equivalent) of chaplaincy Experience in a healthcare setting. Tertiary/quaternary hospital Experience preferred.
