Job Description

The Department of Government, Legal Studies, and Philosophy at Tarleton State University seeks to expand its pool of applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions for its growing on-campus offerings in Stephenville as well as expanding online offerings. We are looking for master's and doctoral-qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Federal Government for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Interested candidates must have doctorate and/or master's in hand in Political Science or a related field. Qualified candidates must have at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and course level

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree or higher in the discipline or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Preferred Education/Experience: Prior experience teaching Federal Government at the collegiate level or as dual credit.
