Job Summary:
The Entry Accountant will embark on a career in finance, playing a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of financial statements, performing ledger balances and reconciliations, and supporting the accounts payable and receivable processes. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, you will help ensure that all financial transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with accounting principles. Responsibilities:
General Accounting Duties:
• Record and maintain financial transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Reconcile bank accounts and other accounts
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
• Monitor and report on cash flow
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators
• Assist with financial forecasting and budgeting
• Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
• Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment
• Calculate and file payroll taxes
• Administer employee benefits programs
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
Financial Systems and Processes:
• Help maintain and improve accounting systems and processes
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with financial systems
• Train and support other team members on financial processes and systems
Compliance and Regulations:
• Stay up to date with accounting regulations and standards
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws
• Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation
• Monitor and report on any changes in regulations that may affect the company's financial practices
Other Duties:
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date
• Provide support to the senior accountant and finance team as needed.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Practical understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
• Ability to understand and explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to meticulously document and track project details and changes.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with various project teams and stakeholders.
