We’re hiring an Account Executive based in Malaysia to sell into the Singapore market. You’ll own the full-cycle sales motion: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, closing, and handoff for activation. You’ll work closely with our product, operations, and compliance teams to win and onboard merchants smoothly.
This role is for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in high-velocity SMB sales, and can also navigate more complex mid-market opportunities when they arise.
Own a Singapore merchant portfolio and hit monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
Run end-to-end sales: outbound prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and close.
Sell across HitPay’s suite (online payments, payment links, integrations, terminals / in-person, and APIs where relevant).
Qualify leads tightly (use-case, volume, decision-maker, timeline) and keep CRM data clean and current.
Coordinate with activation/support to ensure fast go-lives and strong early merchant experience.
Identify patterns in objections, competitor positioning, and pricing pressure—then feed this back into enablement and product.
Build relationships with partners when needed (e.g., agencies, commerce enablers) to drive deal flow.
2–6 years of B2B sales experience (payments, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce enablement, POS, or adjacent).
Proven track record closing SMB / mid-market deals with consistent quota attainment.
Comfortable with outbound (email, calls, LinkedIn) and running structured discovery + demos.
Strong commercial instincts: can discuss pricing confidently and negotiate without discounting prematurely.
Familiarity with Singapore’s SMB landscape is a plus (retail, F&B, e-commerce, services).
Clear communicator, fast learner, and high ownership—able to operate independently across countries/time zones.
Experience selling payment gateways, acquiring, POS/terminals, or omnichannel commerce tools.
Experience with partners/referrals (web agencies, platform partners, ISVs).
Knowledge of payment methods in Singapore (e.g., PayNow, cards, BNPL).
Chinese (Mandarin) language proficiency is a plus (to support a broader set of Singapore merchants).
Ramp on HitPay products, positioning, pricing, and onboarding workflow.
Build a repeatable outbound cadence and pipeline generation rhythm for Singapore ICPs.
Consistently run high-quality discovery and demos; close initial deals and drive first go-lives.
Demonstrate strong CRM discipline and predictable forecasting.
Direct ownership of a high-impact market (Singapore) with a product built for real merchant pain.
Fast learning curve across payments, compliance, and product-led distribution.
Work with a lean, high-agency team with real responsibility and autonomy.
